National Synchronous Reading of the Declaration of Independence

Gather on the lawn of the Morris County Courthouse to listen to the reading of the Declaration  of Independence on July 8th, the 250th anniversary of the first public reading.  Then take a walking tour of significant historical monuments and places in Morristown. Kathleen, who used to run history and food tour business in Morristown will lead the tour.  

After our walk, we can decide on a bite to eat, or get take out and head to Dismal Harmony Distillery or Glenbrook Brewery to talk more about what our democracy means to us today.
