About these Events: 

"Join the Colorado Immigrant Partnership Teams as part of a nationwide day of action to oppose the Trump administration's expansion of ICE black sites and its attack on the due process rights of immigrants and all Americans.

In March we learned that ICE is holding people in inhumane conditions at nine concealed sites across Colorado. These “hold rooms” are secret detention sites where people are being held for days at a time without access to their loved ones or lawyers and without access to decent food, sleeping, or toilet facilities.
ICE’s Field Office in Centennial, used for offices and for immigration check-ins, is one of these black sites.

We'll gather to:

Bring a sign. Bring your neighbors. Bring your voice.

This action is part of the Communities Not Cages National Day of Action organized by the Disappeared In America campaign and partners including Detention Watch Network, Indivisible, Public Citizen, The Workers Circle, MoveOn and many others.

We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events."
