Hey Mountain People
Since we are getting close to the Summer Solstice I thought it would be fun to have our meeting outside. So instead of meeting at the Gilpin Library we will meet at my house and sit out at the old, creaky,splintery picnic table. But....we can have wine and munchies.
For this meeting I would like to work on submitting comments to the Federal Registry on some upcoming legislation

Although you must write in your own words for a comment to be counted (no copy-pasting), we give you all the information you need to write thoughtful, informed comments that can persuade the government to do the right and just thing.
Are you ready to put on your writing hat this week? Choose any of the five proposed rules affecting:
- Whether disabled infants get funding for support programs.
- Whether aspiring Americans are allowed to work.
- Whether trans and nonbinary Americans are allowed to have housing support.
- Whether the government will re-allow a petroleum pipeline to go under a sacred site and national monument.
- Whether the USPS can interfere with elections (must be a mailed letter, comment deadline approaching!).
We have decent WiFi and phone signal at the house.So bring your device and your comments on at least one of these rules. I'll print out some additional info.
Also I have ordered some more Blue Wave Postcards for a future meeting.
Please bring a beverage or munchie to share. I have two cats. We can share them too.
