If you can please bring one item for donation to the Gilpin Food Pantry. They are always in need of personal care items....a toothbrush, a tube of toothpaste, bottle of shampoo, pack of toilet paper, box of tampons. Bottles and jars of condiments are also appreciated. Either Roxy or I will take the donations over on Monday

- Mother's Day visibility Brigade action. Sunday, May11th, 10-11am. We still need to decide on a message. Current suggestion are: "Save Act=Mom's can't vote", "Don't take Mom's vote away", "Mom earned her vote" (alongside sign with "SAVE ACT" in red circle with cross out through it), "I am woman, watch me vote". We also need to choose a location.
- Colorado Blueprint to End Hunger (https://wwwendhungerco.org) is urging people to contact Governor Polis about possible restrictions on choices for those using SNAP benefits.
- Tuesday, May 6th, 5:30pm. Webcast by Jessica Valenti, founder of "Abortion, Every Day" with updates on ongoing extremist attacks on women's reproductive rights and what we can do to fight back against it. Let me know who wants to watch this and I can get you the sign-up link on Sunday.
- Other ideas for actions are always welcome....and we still have plenty of "SHAME" cards to send out. And, unfortunately, plenty of reasons to send them.
