Mountain Women Move Mountains: Sunday, June 22nd meeting. 5:00pm at Augustina's.

Thanks to everyone who could make it out to the " No Kings" protest last Saturday. From what I have heard it was a pretty rollicking day at Denver, Golden, Boulder, and Nederland with mostly positive responses from the public.
Rough agenda for this Sunday (subject to constant revision):
Rough agenda for this Sunday (subject to constant revision):
- a little socializing
- Members can bring up their concerns and ideas about future actions for the MWMM
- The mobilize.us group, organizers of the No Kings protest, has another day of protest/action planned. This one is on July 17th ( anniversary of the death of John Lewis) and will focus on attacks on civil and human rights by the Cheetohead administration.
- make a few calls or send a few emails (still focusing on the "Big, Ugly Budget Bill" but there are some other issues out there too.)
- there is now a regional organizer for the Colorado TroubleNation groups. I have a Zoom meeting scheduled with her for next Friday morning. My main topic will be how we as a group in a blue area can help the Colorado groups operating in red counties and towns. Let me know if there are any ideas, concerns, or questions you would like me to share with her.
- there is a webinar next Thursday, 5:30pm,on How women can defeat Authoritarianism hosted by RedWine.Blues which I am planning to watch. If anyone else is interested let me know.
Peace
Gussie
