Thank you to the members who were able to come to the Visibility Brigade on August 3rd.
Several members of the Gilpin Democrats joined us. As usual...mostly positive responses from the passing cars and cyclists.
There was a nice article in this weeks Mountain Ear about our group. Hopefully it will encourage more folks in our community to join in on resistance actions.
The TroubleNation national organizers have asked to spotlight our group in their September Newsletter. It would be nice to have a group photo for them. I have a few photos from our Visibility Brigade activities, but I was also thinking that we could meet a little early and get a picture of us all riding the Carousel of Happiness.

- meet at 4:30 for a Carousel ride( the Carousel does it's last ride at 4:45pm. If we don't have enough members here for this week I will try again next Sunday)

- round the room with what is really bugging you this week (politically) and any idea what to do about it?
- Roxy is very concerned about the lack of news coverage of the starvation situation in Gaza. I don't know how pressure can be put on the large news organizations. Any ideas? All I can come up with is supporting (financially or as volunteers) our public radio/TV outlets as the big corporate media groups are bowing down to Cheeto-head.
- next Visibility Brigade Sunday August 17th? Signage about "Unmasking ICE"
- has anyone heard anything about potential mass protests over Labor Day Weekend?
- connecting with other local TroubleNation groups? Organizing an event where we could meet our sister group members and perhaps start working together. There are 3 groups in Boulder, one in Golden, and 5 in the Denver area.
- actions (pick your issue) situation in Gaza, protecting the US census, give a report to our representatives about how Cheetohead's policies are impacting you.
