Mounhtain Women Move Mountains Sunday, April 13th meeting
We will be meeting at the winery at 5pm on Sunday. There are several things on the agenda.
- a little socializing
- Hopefully I can track down a short training video on "Know Your Rights- for Protestors" I have some written information from the ACLU, but if I can find a short video we will screen it.
- Our "Shame "postcards should be here by Friday. We can pick a Colorado Republican representative to whom we will send 10-20 cards with a message. If you want to participate in this please bring your own postcard stamps and a pen. You need to be comfortable with signing your name to this.
- I have almost finished the letter stencils for "Visibility Brigade"signage. Didn't get any donations of paint to color in the letters, so I am going with Sharpies instead. If you want to help with this ....bring some large sharpies and a straight edge to use. Ace Hardware in Nederland has some very large, chisel-tip black sharpies. Colored sharpies are fine too. Just needs to be a bright and/or dark color. I have about 75 letter sign boards. Letters are 18" high. I still need to figure out an easy way to string the boards. Please think about:messaging, location(currently I am looking at the parking pull-off at Kelly-Dahl, South Beaver Road and 119, turn off to CO highway 46 and 119.
