Monthly Member Meeting: Get Out the Vote Postcard Party
Looking for an easy, stress-free way to do your part towards getting out the vote this election season? Join us at our monthly member meeting to fill out postcards to your contacts and to voters in targeted swing state campaigns!
Choose:
- An EMHN-designed postcard to help your friends and family check if they are on the list of 82,700 North Carolina voters who will need to repair their voter registration to avoid problems at the polls; (Instructions on how to repair their registration are included.)
- A postcard targeted to progressive voters in Virginia, New Jersey or Pennsylvania by the Progressive Turnout Project; (Cards for North Carolina will be available after November 4.)
- Or both!
At the meeting, we'll also chat about how the potential passage of the Mecklenburg County Transit Plan and associated sales tax will specifically impact East Charlotte, Mint Hill, Matthews and surrounding communities; our new and exciting immigrant outreach initiatives; an upcoming service day to clean up and beautify local streets; and more. We hope to see you there!
