Monthly meet up!

Hey everyone!

Think of this as a save-the-date, but I wanted to get this meeting on everyone’s calendar for next month.  Since mother’s day falls on the second Sunday, we were going to push it until May 18th at 3 pm. The location is still TBD because we want to find good public places to meet. Any suggestions are welcome!

The agenda is still in the works as I’m trying to see if I can get some special guests to join us. My hope is to connect our group with local leaders and candidates for the upcoming local elections to explore how we can best make an impact in Cary. This is not to say we won’t be doing anything on a national level as well.

I would also love it if we could keep the momentum going for donations to the Western Wake Crisis Ministries, which Erin started for the last meeting. You can find more information here: Western Wake Crisis Ministries.

I have been collecting postcards and addresses from these organizations so I can hand out packages to anyone who wants to help write them.
