Monday Evening Virtual Happy Hour
Grab your favorite after-work beverage and relax with some friends for a bit: It's time to resume our weekly Monday Evening Central Midlands Good Troublemakers Zoom Happy Hour!
Traditionally, our Happy Hour has been an time to share informally among supportive friends those things that have been on our heart and minds. But this season so much more is going on! Not only do we need to keep ourselves healthy and sane, but the the things we hold dear are under such attack that our energies and focus are needed now more than ever.
Our group needs to create a concrete action plan for our summer: What to prioritize, how to achieve those goals, how to work together, how often to meet over the summer, where and when. Hopefully we can cover some ground to develop a "SMART"* plan for "making good trouble" this summer and fall.
Because statewide coordination may be needed in this unprecedented time, feel free to attend these virtual happy hours even if you are outside the area of the midlands, especially if you are available to participate in actions at the state capitol.
If more than ten people attend this meeting, we may break out into separate breakout rooms by interest or topic.
*The acronym SMART stands for Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time Bound.
