A few people in various Facebook chats have expressed concerns about our futures, not just political agenda but "What does this mean for me?"  For my retirement, for my career, for my finances.  Should I be looking at moving to a different country, or a different part of this country?  These are pretty big concerns that are weighing heavily on people's minds.
