"At a time when transgender people are being scapegoated for political gain and harmed by discriminatory policies, it’s more important than ever to understand the real lives affected.
Join us to hear from moms of transgender children as they share their families’ experiences, the challenges they’ve faced, and how current trends are impacting their children and what it means to advocate fiercely for those they love.
The event will also feature Leigh Finke, the first openly transgender person elected to the Minnesota Legislature, who will share her journey, her work in public service, and policies state government can advance to better protect transgender communities.
