As a woman, if you see a child alone in the park, no adult in sight, would you grab their little hand and ask “Where is your mommy?”. Most likely, YES.
That’s what women do. We protect, care, and advocate, in ways big and small. We are mamabears to all, for all.
It’s that same mamabear mentality that ignited a collective movement of women across Southern California who, upon learning that their local school boards had become a national spotlight for hateful rhetoric and harmful attacks on children, formed a powerful coalition to fight to maintain freedom and safety for ALL CHILDREN in our schools. (insert dun-dun sound from Law & Order)
This period of time gripped national headlines, and all of it was happening right here in the Conejo Valley while we were busy making cookies for the school bake sale. JOIN US in a special screening and in-person panel with creators and participants from the film "Moms Club"
With school board elections on the ballot in 2026, there has never been a more relevant time to engage with this film, and in community, for future generations.
About the film:
When a group of suburban moms discovers their public schools are under attack by a powerful network of extremists, they form a secret resistance to protect LGBTQ+ students and defend public education.
