MLGT Sep 4, 2025 Zoom Meeting, 8 - 9pm: School Boards: What do they do and Why we need to pay attention to them

Our September Zoom Meeting will focus on School Boards, with a presentation from Sandra Miller, who has been an education advocate for almost 30 years and served as a school board member for Saucon Valley School District for 16 years.  Since 2014, she has been actively working to improve school funding in PA. Currently, Sandra is the Advocacy Coordinator for Education Voters of PA, a position she has held since 2019. As coordinator, she is an active participant in the PA Schools Work Coalition and the Families for Equitable School Funding Coalition. Additionally, she coordinates the Pennsylvanians for Welcoming and Inclusive Schools (PA WInS) coalition. Her previous experience includes serving as the Northeast Coordinator of Advocacy for PA Schools Work and as a Circuit Rider for the Campaign for Fair Education Funding.
