Meeting on Tuesday, May 13 at Friendship Methodist Church, 7pm

We will meet on Tuesday, May 13 to focus on two big issues that require immediate actions:
- the State of Ohio proposed budget for education (voting will happen in early June); and
- the State of Ohio’s version of the SAVE Act making its way through Congress:
- Senate Bill 153 – “Ohio’s SAVE Act” would require documentary proof of citizenship to register to vote and a number of new reasons to invalidate petitions and threaten petition committee members and circulators.
- As a note, the Mill Creek Democracy Network has added its name to the Fair Districts - Ohio list of organizations that oppose this bill.
At next week’s meeting, we will discuss talking points and calls to action for each of these important issues, and we will brainstorm on ways to reach as many people as possible to inform them and encourage them to act.
