Hand out flyers, "Vote No on Repeal the Millionaires Tax I-645"

Initiative 645 is on the November 3, 2026, Washington ballot and seeks to repeal the state's newly enacted 9.9% tax on individual income over $1 million.

Arguments from the "No on I-645" Campaign:

Budget Impact: Opponents argue repealing the tax will create a multi-billion dollar hole in the state budget.

Public Services: Campaign leaders, including Governor Bob Ferguson and labor groups, state it will force cuts to K-12 education, healthcare, and childcare funding.

Other Programs: Critics warn the broad wording could threaten funding for programs like paid family leave and long-term care.
