Meet up to Protest!

Saturday is a national day of Protest/Service. We will be meeting up to protest. This event is open to anyone (you do not have to be a mom).
There will be Protests all throughout the United States. If you are unable to attend a protest (or in addition to attending) you can volunteer, donate a book, donate clothes, help someone in need. There will be protests in Rockford, Buffalo Grove, Downtown Chicago, South Elgin, Yorkville, Batavia, and more! You can find information at mobilize.us or fiftyfifty.one. I will also try to post some protest information in my facebook group.
We will be meeting at the Batavia protest outside the library. This should be a smaller protest. (the south elgin and downtown one are expected to be much larger). This is a family friendly event. Feel free to bring children, walkers, chairs or whatever mobility device you need. I will be there will my 4 year old in a stroller. He will probably have a sign that says "congress protect my future". I have brown curly hair and will be sitting next to him. I will send out an email just prior to the event with some more info.
They will be collecting donations for the Food Pantry and Clothes closet. There will be boxes at the rally if you have anything to donate. Parking is available on the south side of the congregational church parking lot.
If you are interested in attending a different protest and would like to search for some protest buddies feel free to make a post in the facebook group.
