When Minnesota was being targeted by ICE this past winter, and people were reeling from the abuse, abductions, and killings in the Twin Cities, even crafters wanted to do something.
People started knitting red hats. Much like the "Pink Pussy" hats that were made after "you know who" was elected in 2016,

Join us to learn about the story of the Norwegian WW II Resistance Movement.  How they wore a red knit hat for democracy and unity. Norwegians began wearing red knit caps as a sign of resistance to the Nazis who had occupied their country.
The Nazis outlawed the wearing of red hats in February of 1942.

Catherines Craft Room will have kits ready for those who would like to knit or crochet a red hat or make a small badge. Some knitting or crocheting experience would be helpful.
