May Meetup

This is our monthly in-person meetup--our third since we started in March.  

We're excited to welcome our new members and have our meetup in a new space that was created for community work!

Agenda:

  • Welcome New Members & Introductions
  • Take Action Updates: How we're keeping up the resistance
  • Speakers 
    • Every list of what you can do to fight for democracy includes participating in your local government. 
    • We'll have a few speakers talk about about local committees and commissions they're working with, what they're doing, and how they got involved. They can also answer any questions you might have if you're considering getting involved--or want to encourage someone else to do so.
  • Group discussion
    • We'll have a group discussion around where we see needs that aren't being filled and projects we might take on. 
    • We have some ideas we want to float, but also want to hear from all of you! 

We'll have refreshments. In the spirit of Red, Wine & Blue, that will include wine--as well as coffee and tea.

We're looking forward to seeing everyone!
