!MAY DAY! We are WORTH FIGHTING FOR!!

This coming Saturday, May 3, from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. we are rallying peacefully, but LOUDLY near U.S. Representative Tim Walberg's office-- YES- the one who now chairs the U.S. committee on education and workforce development.  Walberg oversaw and sanctioned the gutting of our U.S. Department of Education and is a Trump devotee, a liar, and a self-satisfied career Republican politician -- serving his 9th TERM!!  solely because our whole southern Michigan district is gerrymandered to include all the rural farmers and, sadly, Jackson County.

Local Jackson activists have been rallying every Thursday since January, but we need your help to GO BIGGER!!  We have also done 3 bridge protests over I-94, so watch for future events that you can join! There are a TON of positive responses by Walberg office from traffic and at I-94 overpass.  It is great fun!!  And we all need the camaraderie and mutual support.

Bring your own sign if you want, and we have extras!  Bring a chair if you like and a drink. Bathrooms are not on site, but you could drive somewhere and return- lots of restaurants within a mile, but a bit far to walk. 

All of the nearby businesses are closed on Saturdays, so there are a lot of parking spaces within a 5 minute walk on level ground, with sidewalks. Come, rain or shine- we'll be there!
