Lets meet up to protest!

This event is open to both moms and non-moms alike. The more the merrier! We will be meeting to protest across from the Gail Borden Library Main Branch (Kimball and Grove). I will be there with my 4 year old in a stroller. He has a sign that says Congress Protect my future and I have brown curly hair and usually am sitting on a stool. We are generally not right on the street and just back from the street. This protest will go from 11-4, but I will probably only be there for an hour or two. It will be great to get together to make our voices heard! We are so close to getting 3.5% of the population-which is what is generally needed for change.
5/1 and 5/3 are a large national protest day. If you can't make this one, check if there is a local one that is better for you. Also, because this is a national protest day, your friends in other states have protests also. Spread the word and encourage them to come on out! Mobilize.us and fiftyfifty.one are both good sources for protests and information of things you can do to take action. Most of these protests are listed there (and some are below) if you want more information.
