Let's Talk Democracy: Elections, Voter Rights & What's at Stake

Democracy doesn't defend itself and in Oklahoma right now, it needs all of us paying attention.

Join Good Trouble Tulsa for our June meeting as we dig into the state of voting rights and voter participation in Tulsa and across Oklahoma. We're bringing together two powerful voices to help us understand what's happening, what's at stake, and what we can do about it.

Oklahoma State Senator Jo Anna Dossett will join us to speak on the legislative threats to voter participation, the bills, the maneuvers, and the political forces working to make it harder for Oklahomans to show up and have their voices heard.

Jess Meloy of Tulsa Voter Coalition will share what the data tells us about voter turnout and voter propensity, who is and isn't showing up in Tulsa elections, and why it matters. She'll also walk us through the voter engagement strategies Tulsa Voter Coalition is using on the ground and how Good Trouble Tulsa members can plug in and get involved.

We'll also cover what's on the ballot in the June and August elections so you leave informed and ready to vote and ready to bring others with you.

This is one of our most important meetings of the year. If you care about free and fair elections, protecting voting rights, and building real civic power in Tulsa, we want you in the room.

Make good trouble. See you there.
