Let's Talk About It: Conversations That Inspire Action (Week Three)

Join us for Let’s Talk About It, a series designed for individuals and organizational leaders looking to build community, search for ways to get involved, and/or plan for the year ahead. We will gather informally on Sunday evenings to:

  • Discuss the issues and challenges we face as we approach the new year;
  • Strategize actionable solutions and initiatives to advocate for our causes, protect our families, and mitigate harm in our respective communities; and
  • Exchange curated resources to empower one another, build resilience, and foster the intersectional coalition necessary to achieve our goals.

This week, we will build on our conversations and discuss actions we might take in preparation for the new year. We will discuss bolstering our digital security and other things we can do for ourselves, our families, our organizations, and our communities. If you have a related topic that you'd like to discuss, please send me a note in advance. Let's Talk About It.

Connect with like-minded people trying to find the best way to protect our communities and defend our democracy. Together, we can prepare to enter the new year with clarity, focus, a plan, and a collaborative community for support moving forward.

This series is perfect for:

  • Anyone looking  to find community, ways to get involved, and/or prepare for the new year;
  • Grassroots organizers seeking ideas, strategies, and inspiration for their community’s action plan; and
  • Community leaders wanting to explore options and forge partnerships with organizations and others that share your values.

Let’s Talk About It is an opportunity to gather in community to learn, strategize, collaborate, and plan for tomorrow. So, collect your resources, write down your ideas, invite a like-minded friend, and join us for a substantive exchange in preparation for the new year.

*This is a collaborative event where we will discuss concerns and strategies. Come prepared to share your thoughts, resources, and ideas. Also, with security becoming a greater concern, all participants will be required to be on camera at least some of the time.

A Zoom link will be emailed to you closer to the time of the event.
