15th Annual Lake Chatuge Shoreline Cleanup set for November 1

Join other lake-loving volunteers on Saturday, November 1, for our annual Lake Chatuge Shoreline Cleanup. The event will kick off at 9 a.m. at the Towns County Swim Beach Pavilion across from the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds, where volunteers will receive their assigned cleanup locations, along with trash bags, gloves, and safety information. Coffee and grab-n-go breakfast snacks will be available, along with free t-shirts for the first 30 volunteers. Although we meet in Georgia, there are cleanup locations on both sides of the state line! Please register to help the organizers know how many people to expect.
