Join LOCO Local for an accessible, informative conversation about immigration, rights, and community in a time of rapid policy change. Steve Volk is a historian who has taught at Oberlin College since 1986 and specializes in Latin American history, human rights, and the relationship between history, power, and lived experience. Drawing on decades of teaching and research, he will help place current immigration issues in historical context and discuss Know Your Rights principles in a clear, grounded way.
This event is educational and discussion-based. It is not a legal clinic, but a space for learning, clarity, and thoughtful conversation.
