Juneteenth and Signs of Fascism Vigil

Friends of the Resistance,

Friday is Juneteenth when we commemorate the disbanding of slavery in the US.  

We gather to honor the occasion and to defend our rights of free speech, free assembly, and the right to dissent.  We will provide the signs of fascism, but feel free to bring other protest signs as well, especially anything to do with racial equality, voting rights, etc.  Tthere’s no shortage of topics, that’s for sure. 

Date:  Friday, June 19th
Time:  5:15 – 6:30 PM
Place:  Whitmoyer Dealership, 1001 E Main Street, Mount Joy
Details:  Park at Stauffer’s and line the sidewalk in front of Whitmoyer.  Bring water and dress for hot weather.

Pushing back against injustice isn’t just our right; it is our responsibility as American citizens — all of us.  Come bring a friend, and if you can't be there in person, raise a torch for us in your heart.
