Join us for our meeting on June 10 as we welcome State Representative candidates from in and around the Loveland area! A little about each candidate...
Ian Schwartz:
I’m Ian Schwartz, a U.S. Air Force veteran, father, husband, and grassroots candidate running
for Ohio State Representative in District 62 because too many everyday people feel ignored by
politics that no longer reflects their struggles or priorities. I believe leadership starts with
showing up, listening, and focusing on practical solutions that improve people’s daily lives. My
campaign is centered around three core priorities: protecting your wallet through affordability
and accountability, protecting your health through accessible healthcare and stronger
communities, and protecting your family by supporting education, public safety, and long-term stability for working people.
Cara Jacob:
My passion for helping people led me to pursue medicine and ultimately become a neurologist. In that role, I’ve had the privilege of caring for patients and families from communities across Ohio. I am also a wife and the proud mom of two wonderful children, experiences that deepen my commitment to building a better future for all families.
Beyond my medical career, I’ve been an advocate for policies that expand access to healthcare, strengthen our public schools, protect our democratic process, keep our communities safe, and ensure government works for everyday Ohioans not just the wealthy and well-connected. That advocacy, coupled with growing concern over the extreme legislation and corruption coming out of our statehouse, is what inspired me to run for the Ohio State Senate in Senate District 7.
I believe we can make Ohio a stronger, fairer place for families by advancing common-sense policies that lift up all Ohioans ensuring opportunity and dignity for everyone, not just the few at the top.

Paul Kurtz:
My name is Paul Michael Kurtz, and I’m a father, a husband, a business leader, a nonprofit board member, an accidental activist, and a proud Catholic.
I am running to fight for District 55 in the Ohio Legislature because everyone deserves to be heard and represented. We need more fighters in Ohio who will take power back for working families.
That is why I'm fighting for:
- Lowering the cost of living for working families
- Fixing public school funding
- Lowering housing costs
- Making childcare affordable
- Reducing healthcare costs and expanding access
- Restoring tax system fairness
- Fighting corruption and bad decisions in government
My life has been a fight, from health care to student debt to overcoming poverty and working my way up in business. But like so many Ohioans, I’m resilient and tough. And in 2026, Warren County will show the rest of Ohio that we’re ready to stand up and fight.
