June 3 Monthly Meeting

Join us on June 3 for our monthly meeting at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church. Doors open at 6:30, meeting starts at 7:00.

We are thrilled to have three of our state legislators with us, Ross Wilburn, Herman Quirmbach and Beth Wessel-Kroeschell. They will speak to us about this year's legislative session, the challenges and the wins. We will also be talking to them about how we can be preparing for next year's session even now. Finally, we will discuss our mutual aid focus at Kate Mitchell and our need for volunteers over the summer.

Two other reminders - if you are passionate about an area of need (immigration, for example) and want to gather people to provide support to people and organizations, we will do whatever we can to support you in that. We aren't able to oversee additional groups but are happy to help you if you want to lead.

Second, we are holding a rally on June 14, beginning at 10:00 AM at Roosevelt Park. This is No Kings Day, protesting a president who believes a military parade in his honor is appropriate. Please plan to join us!

An RSVP is helpful so we know how many to expect. However, it is not a requirement and we love it when people bring a friend! Hope to see you June 3rd!
