What is Indivisible’s Neighbor2Neighbor Campaign?:
The Indivisible Organization has launched a new campaign called Neighbor2Neighbor. At its simplest, Neighbor2Neighbor is a chance for you to connect with like-minded members of your community and make sure they know about Republicans’ attempts to rip away vital programs from the people in order to pay for tax breaks for billionaires.
Cuts to programs like Medicaid and SNAP are massively unpopular, and the GOP members understand that supporting such cuts could be politically disastrous. That’s why we need to make sure these Republicans know their constituents are watching, and we’ll use Neighbor2Neighbor to do it. We can shine a light on their complicity and use their cowardice against them to ensure the worst aspects of their plan never see the light of day. How? Neighbor2Neighbor.

How to Get Involved:

- We send you a list of up to 5 neighbors, a very simple script, and a printout to leave behind.
- You knock on their doors, have a brief conversation about these horrific proposed cuts, and encourage them to take our pledge to fight for Medicaid and SNAP.
- You mark off when you’ve talked to them.
People are much more likely to listen to those who they consider to be members of their community. With Neighbor2Neighbor, you can have low-stakes conversations with people you may have seen out on a walk, at the dog park, or at the grocery store. That proximity leads to impactful conversations.
