What the heck is going on?!

 

It is difficult to remember a time when our nation felt this chaotic and divided. Yesterday, a teenager opened fire at a high school in Denver. In the same afternoon, Charlie Kirk, the extreme right-wing founder of the youth group Turning Point USA, was shot and killed while giving a talk on a Utah college campus.

 

These tragedies come in the middle of a storm of chaos brought by extremists working overtime to chip away at our rights and end the programs that help us be the nation we are, from public education to Medicare and Medicaid. 

 

It’s hard to know what to feel in this moment, or where to turn. But we at Red Wine & Blue know that what helps us see the light at the end of the tunnel is not isolating ourselves, but rather strengthening our relationships and community connections. We’re going to help you do just that.
