Happy Hour #10. Reviewing candidates for the upcoming primary

Hello to our small band of resisters!  

We are now 39 strong and I hope many of you made a No Kings III Protest.  By the time our May 14th meeting comes, we should have a full list of the candidates to consider for the Primary.

The important dates in Washington State:

  • May 4th is the 1st day to file a declaration of candidacy
  • May 8th is the last day to file a declaration of candidacy
  • May 11th is the final day to withdraw from the ballot
  • May 19th is the deadline for candidates to submit Voters Pamphlet profiles
  • July 27th - Online and mail registrations must be received 8 days before Election Day.  Register to vote in person during business hours and any time before 8 p.m. on Election Day.
  • August 4th is the Primary.  Deposit your ballot in an official drop box by 8 p.m. on Election Day.
