Good Trouble Tampa September Monthly Meeting

Our special guest speaker at our September Monthly Meeting will be Jim Davis, who served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1997 to 2007, representing Florida's 11th congressional district. He was also a Democratic nominee for governor of Florida in the 2006 election.

We look forward to hearing his advice on the current state of federal and state representation and why the party line division seems impenetrable.  He was known for his ability to build consensus across party lines during his term, so he is uniquely qualified to speak on this subject.  We also hope to learn any community tactics he suggests to combat the misinformation out there and what we should focus on to win back Democratic majority during the 2026 mid-term elections.
