Gather for The Good

Hello! 

Let’s get together at Rohi’s Readery in WPB! This social justice driven bookstore and community center has been large part of my life for the past almost 5 years! As a volunteer, art educator, event organizer, and now part time as the director of service empowerment, The Readery is a significant part of our downtown community that supports critical literacy, multimedia storytelling, and representation of marginalized communities.  I would love to share with members of the Democracy Defenders group! There will be left leaning vendors at the space, currently confirming which ones and will let everyone know ASAP. The Readery has incredible books, art and merch as well!

We will discuss important topics about upcoming midterms, map redistricting, needs of public school students for the summer, and how to support our public health community and LGBTQIA+ community members.

Please feel free to bring spouse/partner/friends/family that would like to join in the strength of our group.
