From Hope to Action: Discover how to support Refugees, Asylum Seekers and Immigrants in Ho Co

 The headlines are heartbreaking.  Around the world and in our own communities, immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers face unspeakable injustices: detention, deportation, and dehumanization. But despair is not the end of the story. 

Please join us for our first of three scheduled information sessions with Tina Horn from  Luminus:  https://www.beluminus.org/.  Luminus is a Howard County organization that provides extremely low-cost, critical legal services to immigrants in Howard County. Through their work, families find hope, protection, and the possibility of a future. 

Whether you're an advocate, a neighbor, or simply someone seeking to understand, your presence matters. Come learn, ask questions, and discover the power of standing up for justice—together.  If you cannot attend 7/8 at 7pm, mark your calendars for either 7/22 at 7 pm or 8/5 at 7pm.  All three sessions will explore the same content so there is no need to attend all three.

Following these sessions, I’d like to form a House Party Fundraising Committee to begin planning an impactful event for September 2025.
