February Monthly Meeting - Taking Social Action

Please join us for our February monthly meeting, where we’ll be focusing on building skills, deepening our shared understanding of effective social action, and planning meaningful next steps together.
February Reading & Discussion
For this meeting, we’ll be grounding our conversation in the book
CHANGE! A Student Guide to Social Action by Scott Myers-Lipton.
For this meeting, we’ll be grounding our conversation in the book
CHANGE! A Student Guide to Social Action by Scott Myers-Lipton.
The book offers practical frameworks for organizing, advocacy, and collective action, and it will help inform upcoming plans—including legislative visits, rapid response efforts, and future trainings.
You can find the book at many used bookstores, or read it online here:

What to expect at the February meeting:
- A guided discussion of key ideas from CHANGE!
- Conversation about how these strategies apply to our local work
- Planning ahead for future work, including advocacy visits and trainings
- Space to learn together, ask questions, and share ideas
You don’t need to finish the entire book to participate—just come ready to learn, reflect, and discuss ideas.
We look forward to seeing you and continuing this important work together.
