About the Event:

"Across our communities, shifting federal policies and aggressive immigration enforcement actions are once again separating children from their families. Unlike the family separations of 2018 at the U.S. southern border, separations are now unfolding on our own street corners. What does this look like in real time? How are advocates responding? What does it take to reunify these families in 2026?

Join the Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights for the first webinar in a new three-part series pulling back the curtain on the realities of hostile immigration policies and the rapid response work unfolding across our programs and communities.

• Hear from advocates working across courtrooms, detention centers, and communities on how we are responding to policies harming children and families right now.

• Gain a clear, grounded understanding of how aggressive immigration policies create lasting consequences for immigrant youth.

• Learn what meaningful engagement looks like in this moment to stand up alongside the Young Center and immigrant communities.
