ESCONDIDO DEFEND DEMOCRACY!! Wednesday PM **Change: ATTEND CITY COUNCIL MEETING**
Instead of our weekly "Defend Democracy" protest for the last 2 weeks of June, due to schedule conflicts we will NOT be sign waving.
Instead we recommend joining the "Escondido Neighbors for Community Solutions" group to meet up at a downtown restaurant around 3:30 pm, then walk to the Escondido City Council meeting together.
WHEN: Wednesday, June 25, 2025 (3:30 pm). City Council Meeting begins at 5 p.m. & has varying duration)
WHERE: Collette's on Grand (3:30 pm), 113 W Grand Ave, Escondido, walk to attend Escondido City Council Meeting together
WHAT: (From Escondido Neighbors for Community Solutions Facebook Event) "Feeling anxious about the state of the world and wondering how you can help? You're not alone! Come down to Collette's on Grand in Escondido at 3:30 pm on Wednesday, June 25th. Meet up with great, like-minded people, and connect over appetizers and great food and drink (self-pay) before we walk across the street together to attend the Escondido City Council meeting! What a great opportunity to lock in and learn more about what's going on in our community, and how we can be part of the solution. It's a great time to speak to your council members and let your voice be heard! Hope to see you there!"
