Emergency Action: Support Our Member at Court who has been falsely accused by local GOP

The court case for our member Devane Wright is Friday, August 22 at 1:00 in Courtroom 1. We will sit silently in the courtroom to support Devane. Please respect court etiquette and do not bring sign . We are there as witnesses to this extreme false accusation publisized by the local GOP. This was the case where she was accused of pushing someone in North Beach at First Friday when she actually was at home.
She sent this with permission to share:

"It's in the personal interest of all tax payers and citizens concerned with justice, public safety, accountability for our public servants to show up in force so that we can stand arm in arm and say "HELL NO" to political prosecution and political bias in policing and in the State's Attorney's office in Calvert County.

They've been trying to subpoena Josh Johnson and "haven't been able to locate him" to do so. We've also asked several times for the name of the person who originally accused me, and the emails sent around to cook the investigation and the SA has not responded to those requests.

Let's get everyone who is able to make it to court on Friday. Everyone possible. Bring your friends and your press contacts and your neighbors. This cannot happen in the dark. Its a HUGE chance to stop this from happening again and to hold the people responsible accountable. "

Josh Johnson is the chair of the Republican Central Committee, who has allowed the social media "trial by public opinion" on the Republican Party pages, as a reference.
If you are able to attend, the District Court Building is the newer Courthouse behind the State Troopers Barracks.  Parking is adequate---you will have to go through security and cell phones have to be turned off. The security team can direct you to Courtroom 1. Depending how many cases, her case may not be the first called.   The judge will ask anyone "unruly" or even having conversations to be removed by the officers in court as they are very strict with proper courtroom behavior.
