Elbows Up for Canada rally at the Peace Bridge

We stand in opposition to the ginned-up tariffs and all talk of making Canada the 51st state. We want to normalize saying “this is dangerous and foolish,” so that people don’t get used to Donald Trump’s lies about Canada through his sheer rambling repetition of them.

On the day that President Trump has said that his tariffs on Canadian automobiles will kick in, we will peacefully assemble on the Shoreline Trail Bridge — which spans the 190 and looks across the river to Canada — to say we stand in solidarity with our Canadian friends and neighbors. We will peacefully say, “This is dangerous and foolish.” 

We want to do our part to reject the President’s agenda in a vocal, visible way. Let’s show our Buffalo Strong commitment to the “true North, strong and free” and make our voices heard as we stand on guard for our Northern neighbors.

Visibility is the key—so make your signs easy to read on the overpass and be ready to wave your Canadian flags!
