Yuriy Zinovyev is one of thousands caught up in the ICE fever and entrapment scheme.  A resident of Glen Falls, NY he has been in this country for over 28 years . At his routine twice yearly check in with the courts he was arrested, detained, and then transferred to the Buffalo Federal Detention Center in Batavia.  Good Neighbor was asked by ADKIndivisible in Sarasota Springs to help get the word out and free him.   In conjunction with multiple groups in the Batavia area we are trying to bring attention to his plight.  Yuriy was denied reentry to his home country of Kazakhstan in 2013. If deported, will go to a 3rd country, like El Salvador or Sudan. 
Hundreds, if not thousands of emails and phone calls have occurred on his behalf.  One Senate aide responded, 'why is he any different', implying thousands are being rounded up, why bother?   That is exactly it.  He is not, but we can do something about this one.  We can show the world that these tactics are unjust and immoral.  We can do it with open hearts, loud voices and righteousness.   
Join us outside the ICE Buffalo Field office in the Delaware North building.
