At the request of Donald Trump, Republicans in the Texas legislature are trying to redraw congressional maps to create five new GOP U.S. House seats. Why? Because Trump knows his agenda is unpopular and his razor-thin MAGA majority in Congress is at risk in 2026.
But instead of letting the GOP majority roll over the state's constitution to adopt these unethical maps, Texas State Rep.
