In addition to the Relational Organizing model that Trouble Nation speaks so eloquently about, canvassing, phone banking, and writing postcards is also important and there are MANY opportunities and volunteer shifts and supplies through your local Dems Office: www.mainedems.org/volunteer

There are 6 other Trouble Nation groups in the state of Maine that will likely be organizing their meetings over zoom if you are needing some local guidance, direction and connection.

Additionally, Leah is offering to host an in person group every Wednesday for Doing the Deeper Work of Democracy, educating ourselves, overcoming our shortsightedness, making sense of the complex history fueling the breaking news, improving our leadership skills for sustaining real coalitions, and building the muscles of democracy in ourselves and our relationships.
Wednesdays for the foreseeable future, in person, In Portland.
Indivisible will be hosting Wednesday night zooms with Shannon Watts from 8:30 to 9:30. Leah Deragon will host local democracy & coalition building work from 7-8:30 first, then tuning into the 8:30 zoom together.
