"We are incredibly excited to invite you to join us on March 19, 2025, via Zoom to discuss the state of the Democratic Party in Colorado AND Nationally. Many of you have been asking what we can do to fight the most lawless, tyrannical, and cruel presidential administration in our country's history, and these two leaders will be able to advise us on effective actions that we can take.

David Hogg, survivor of the Parkland, FL, school shooting turned gun safety and youth leadership advocate, won his race for one of the Democratic National Committee’s Vice-Chair positions last month. He is the first member of Gen Z to take on a national leadership role within the party and is the youngest DNC Vice-Chair ever elected. 

According to David, "I want to show young people that the party does care about them, that we are fighting for them!"

Shad Murib is the current CO Democratic Party chair who successfully led the Democratic Party slate in 2024. Prior to being elected Chair, Shad worked for Colorado Senator John Hickenlooper as his campaign Outreach Director then transitioned to a role within Hickenlooper's office. He runs both the Copper Bar Ranch as well as his own consulting firm, Ulysses Strategies. And he is a CU Alum!"
