Democracy Summer Send Off

Akron Democracy Defenders is hosting an end‑of‑summer party for all the local organizations working to protect democracy across Northeast Ohio. Before the fall season kicks into high gear, we’re taking one evening to celebrate everything we’ve built together — and to enjoy a moment of breathing room.

Join volunteers, organizers, and leaders from groups across the region for a relaxed night of connection, community, and shared purpose at a gorgeous lakeside venue.

Your $15 ticket includes:

Every dollar raised will be shared with candidates and causes in need of our support. This gathering is both a celebration of our collective work and a boost for the leaders fighting for democracy in 2026.
