D-Day Democracy Day Brigade

D-Day (Democracy Day) is coming! On Saturday June 6, join a WNY D-Day Brigade to honor those who fought fascism on the beaches of Normandy by bringing that same spirit of resistance peacefully home. Our Messaging: Pro-democracy. Anti-fascist. Rooted in history, urgent in the present.

High-visibility protests will be held from 11am-12pm on June 6 at the following locations (see overview map): 1) Cleveland Dr overpass; 2) Genesee St overpass; 3) Pedestrian overpass at Cayuga St over Rt 33; and 4) Traffic circle at Main and S Buffalo St in Hamburg.

At each location, there will be a large message for passing cars to see. You are welcome to bring your own smaller signs and flags to wave. If you are a veteran, we would be especially honored if you could join us.
