Cupcake War with the School Board

Does your family like CUPCAKES? (Duh)
Come join the Cupcake War! All proceeds will go to a local family in need (more details to come).
We are accepting bakers of all ages and there will be three categories of prizes: Under 12, 12-18, and over 18.
Please sign up to bake and see how the contest works using this Google Form: https://forms.gle/vDf6YK61qV1h1Uo57
If you aren't a baker...no problem! Come anyway to:
*Be a taster/judge
*Donate to a worthy cause
*Enjoy some music and Stolen Sun beer, coffee, and food (for a charge)
*Let the kids have fun through The Crafty Chef Academy,
*meet some of our elected officials who can answer your DASD related questions on ANY topic (We strongly recommend presubmitting your questions using the Form linked above to allow your officials to be as prepared and as accurate as possible.)
*Bring cupcakes home to freeze (please provide your own to-go containter)
As always, we expect everyone to treat each other with kindness and respect, especially our elected volunteers; anyone who does not will be gently guided in that direction, and if it becomes apparent that they are not ready to act appropriately they will be asked to leave.
The aim of DASD Parent Partners is, as always, to inform and support our families, and to bring the UNITY back into our CommUNITY.
GOALS OF COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS EVENTS
1. Enable parents to meet the parents of their kids’ friends.
2. Encourage them to share their challenges and experiences, as well as life hacks and successes.
3. Find common obstacles that could possibly be addressed by district improvements.
4. Share helpful resources and school district information with parents in an additional and different format.
5. Create opportunities for parents to learn about/participate in school committees/events, home and school associations, or propose new programs that inspire them.
