Constitution Day Celebration

Indivisible Beaverton is planning a day to defend our Constitution and Democracy from 4pm-6 pm by the Beaverton Library. This will include readings from the Constitution and a couple of short speeches–they are hoping for the participation of ACLU and possibly the League of Women Voters. Local organizations (like us) will also have booths to get people involved in their community and there will be sign waving along Hall Blvd.


We will set up our booth and have several activities:

*Constitution Game
*Banned Word sign making and display
*Make a "250 Birthday Wish" and display on a 3-D Cake

Drawing attention to the need to protect our Constitution is essential.

Please join us on Constitution Day to show your support for upholding our Constitution, which is vital to the survival of our Democracy:

We need help with:
Set up/ take down
Run an activity 
Donate prizes for games (candy/ other) 
We need a minimum of 5 people to run this event smoothly.

We participated last year and loved this event! Please join us!! 

When:  Wednesday, September 17th, we will set up at 3:30 and take down at 6:00pm.
