CAT February Workshop - Know Your Reps

Join the NoVA Community Action Team (CAT) for our February meeting, open to members and non-members. It’s been a few years since most of us have taken a civics class, so we’re going to brush up on our knowledge of county, state, and federal government, together. We’ll give special attention to the more local governing bodies that make decisions impacting our everyday lives.

Many causes ask us to call or write our congresspeople, but researching our representatives can be a barrier to getting involved. CAT members will help each attendee find all of their representatives and combine the information into a single resource for future use.

NOTE: Attendees are encouraged to bring their laptops to find their reps and fill out the digital worksheet. (Paper copies of the worksheet will also be available.)

Bring a friend and jumpstart your community engagement together!

As a safety consideration, many CAT events list the location’s area rather than the address. The full address will be given in the email attendees receive after registering.
