"COLOR Action Fund and Colorado Working Families Power invite you to a Congressional District 8 Community Power Town Hall with Democratic congressional candidates Manny Rutinel (confirmed), Evan Munsing (confirmed), and Shannon Bird (invited).

Tuesday, February 24, 2026, 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM. Doors open at 5:30 PM

In a political moment defined by rising authoritarian pressure, attacks on immigrant communities, threats to bodily autonomy, and economic instability for working families, CD-8 voters deserve to hear from the candidates running to represent them. This town hall will center on the issues our communities are facing every day:

Candidates will respond to predetermined questions drawn from the Colorado Latino Policy Agenda, and live questions will be curated from attendees.

This is an opportunity for voters in CD-8 to hear directly from candidates about how they plan to govern, and whether they are prepared to meet the seriousness of this moment. All three current or declared CD-8 candidates were invited to participate.
