Candlelight Vigil for Renee Good
We are joining with our friends and neighbors for a Candlelight vigil for Renee Good, Sunday, 11th, 5pm in downtown Hayesville.
Bring a candle if you can, there will be some available to share. Bring a sign if you'd like. We want to honor the young mother who was shot and killed while she tried to protect her community from ICE.
Sidewalks are public spaces so we will stand along the sidewalks and mourn the loss together in community.
Some businesses will be open Sunday so please be mindful and don't block the entrances to those. Mayor England is aware of our plans as is Lt. Moore. Please share this with anyone who might want to join us.
